Flight is a 2012 American drama film directed and co-produced by Robert Zemeckis and featuring an ensemble cast including Denzel Washington, Don Cheadle, Melissa Leo, Bruce Greenwood, Kelly Reilly, and John Goodman. Flight is Zemeckis' first live-action film since 2000's Cast Away. Flight reunites Washington with many of his co-stars from previous films. He co-starred with Cheadle in Devil in a Blue Dress (film), with Goodman in Fallen (film), and with Greenwood in Deja Vu (2006 film).

Reception
Flight has received mostly positive reviews. The film has an approval rating of 78% based on a sample of 99 critics on Rotten Tomatoes, but has a higher rating of 91% from top critics. The Hollywood Reporter's Todd McCarthy wrote that the film "provides Denzel Washington with one of his meatiest, most complex roles, and he flies with it."[1] Conversely, Critic Speak's Timothy Semenza wrote that Flight sees filmmaker Zemeckis "return to...broad strokes, but this proves to be problematic because, in stark contrast to the emotive narratives of his previous works, it’s about an entirely internal struggle.
