The Imposter (2012) Full Movie Free Download
The Imposter is a 2012 documentary film about the 1997 case of Frédéric Bourdin, who impersonated a boy who had disappeared in 1994, claiming to have been kidnapped for sexual abuse and transported from the boy's home in Texas to Spain. His impersonation fooled several authorities and even many of the boy's family members, even though he was seven years older than the missing boy, had brown eyes and dark hair (rather than the boy's blue eyes and blond hair). The impersonation was discovered only by a private investigator – who brought his own misguided hypothesis into the story.

Reception
The film received a grand jury documentary prize at the Miami International Film Festival, and was nominated for a grand jury world documentary prize at the Sundance Film Festival.
The Film won the Filmmakers awards at Hot Docs Film Festival 2012.
It received a wide range of reactions at the Seattle International Film Festival, almost equally distributed between one-star and five-star ratings. One of the SIFF viewer reviews objects to the characterization of the film as a documentary, because the use of actors to re-create the events of the impersonation by actors is not disclosed until the closing credits.
